TapLine privacy

Privacy Policy

Effective October 12, 2026. This policy explains how TapLine, operated by InfoSoft Technology Inc., handles personal information.

Information we collect

We collect information that brewery, cidery, distillery, venue, staff, and guest users provide when they use TapLine. This may include names, business contact details, account and role information, reservation or event-request details, membership information, and operational content entered into the platform.

When an authorized user connects an Instagram professional account, TapLine receives the account identifiers and basic profile information made available through Meta, such as the Instagram username. TapLine also processes captions and photo or video files that the user selects for publication, along with publication results such as the Instagram post ID.

How we use information

We use information to provide and secure TapLine, authenticate users, operate venue and guest-service features, process user-requested reservations and communications, connect authorized social accounts, publish content only after the user approves it, maintain records of requested actions, troubleshoot problems, and comply with legal obligations.

TapLine does not sell personal information. TapLine does not publish Instagram content automatically or access unrelated Instagram accounts. Social-account information is used only for the features the authorized user chooses to activate.

Service providers and disclosure

We may use trusted hosting, database, email, payment, analytics, security, and artificial-intelligence service providers to operate TapLine. These providers process information only to perform services for us and are subject to contractual or legal safeguards. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate protections.

Storage, security, and retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No electronic system can guarantee absolute security. Information may be processed in Canada, the United States, or another location where our service providers operate and may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions.

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain legitimate business and security records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Connected-account authorization can be removed by disconnecting the integration. Eligible information is deleted or de-identified when it is no longer required.

Your choices and rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information by contacting us. You may disconnect Facebook or Instagram through TapLine or through the Apps and Websites settings of the relevant Meta account. Disconnecting stops future access but does not itself delete information already stored by TapLine.

For detailed deletion steps, see our Data Deletion Instructions.

Children and policy updates

TapLine is intended for businesses and their adult users and is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy as the service or legal requirements change. The effective date shown above identifies the current version.
